Segmental Saw Blade
Segmental saw blades are designed for the cutting of hard-to-cut materials. The high quality HSS materials are used for HSS-Segments to ensure the optimum protection of wear and long life time of the segmental saw blade. In addition, special segments are ground radial and tangential. The relief grinding ensures good cutting clearance and avoids side pick-up on the tooth rim.

DMo5 (1.3343): Hardness approx. 63-65 HRC
EMo5 Co5 (1.3243): Hardness approx. 63-65 HRC with high Cobalt content.
HSS-segments:
Saw body and segments form an integral unit.
Choice between hardened high speed steel of quality DMo5 and EMoCo5. The hardness of approx.63-65HRC guarantees optimum protection of wear and high life time of the saw blade.
Steel Body:
Made of alloyed steel, tensioned and straightened to have strength of approx.1400 N/mm2, size of bore hole=H7.
Compound:
Steel body with strong shoulder to receive segments as well as saw body and segment form an integral unit.
